Leadership and management training

Leadership training for optimal results

When you are recruiting for your business, in most cases you will have it as a  pre-requisite that applicants be trained in their specialist area. Whether it is a plumber, a roofer, an accountant or a chiropractor – to ensure you get the best person, you want them to be trained in their respective field.

Do you have the same criteria though for those in your business who manage people?

A staggering 82% of managers have no formal training.

The impact of ineffective leaders and managers is demotivated and disengaged employees who almost certainly deliver sub-optimal performance.

The solution is an investment in leadership and management training!

Leadership and management training UK Growth Coach

Why UK Growth Coach's leadership and management development sessions?

Very few truly great businesses were built without inspiring leaders or effective managers…almost every one of them accepted a little help on the journey!

The UK Growth Coach support has been designed specifically for the owners, leadership team, and managers in SMEs (Small and Medium Sized Businesses).

As a result, our leadership training and management courses are quite different to those run for large-scale organisations who have huge teams and bigger resources.

The management and leadership training sessions have been developed to address business challenges that owners frequently experience as barriers to success, not just learn about them!

"The course was tailored to our needs making every element relevant to us, using real-life examples to really bring the methods to life. The follow on coaching was especially useful for going over the methods we had tried, and discussed what went well and what still needed improvement. Doing this as a group meant we could share ideas and give each other a slightly different perspective on the same issues, giving a real ‘in it together’ feel. It gave us the opportunity to ask specific questions on method implementation and get very specific advice back on how to approach any difficulties we had faced trying to put in place the methods learnt in the first session."

Delivering real change in your business!

Knowledge is power…or so they say!

Each management and leadership training and development session is designed to address specific areas that experience tells us are important to becoming more effective leaders and managers in the SME world.

The content always includes a mix of theory, real-world experience, and case examples to ensure a rounded perspective.

Our support is normally delivered in two parts…

The first (training) covers the education and understanding elements.

The second (coaching), supports the real-world application of that learning.

The topics we deliver are not purely academic, but are intended to enable and encourage positive change adoption and lead to enhanced business results!

changing the path of your business through management and leadership training

What does coaching achieve that training alone does not?

Where training has the boundaries of specified aims, objectives, and content, coaching can be much more fluid, reactive, and individual focused.

Coaching delves into other areas such as perceived barriers, the confidence to apply, consideration of best forms of application in the real-world, and developing the person to become capable in the execution of tasks to the highest standards.

There are two main forms of leadership and management coaching that we offer:

  1. Training follow-on coaching sessions (for groups)
  1. Management development coaching (for individuals)
